Moderating Communities

When you click on the 'ePortfolios - Faculty Moderate Communities', a community will be automatically created for your course.  Therefore, it is important to add this tool link AND click on it within ALL of the courses you teach.


DEFAULT VISIBILITY
  • The default setting for your community is 'Moderator Only'
  • This means that only the moderator (instructor) of the course can see the ePortfolios that are shared in the community
  • If you would like students to see each other's ePortfolios, change this setting to 'Private'
To change this visibility setting, select the community you wish to moderate and follow these steps
      • Click the settings tab
      • Select the settings icon
      • Use the dropdown to change the community visibility to 'Private'
